Political Note: A newcomer to the Committee when she joined it in 2010, Gresham probably has among the lower-profiles of School Committee, at least politically. Still, she is not absent from politics. As a member of the Ward 4 Democratic Committee, she has, at a minimum, a tangential connection to Ward 4 Councilor and City Committee Chair E. Henry Twiggs. Her School Committee profile is spare, but there does appear to be an interest in health of students as well considering her Public Health and asthma work as well as her career in nursing. With Denise Hurst she voted for Jesus Jara to be School Superintendent instead of Daniel Warwick, who became the schools chief on a 5-2 vote.
